Pumpkins

This past Monday, the wife and I carved pumpkins with my family. It's always an interesting experience watching my niece doing stuff like this. She's not really one to get her hands dirty, so it was a pretty fun experience. Pumpkins turned out good, too bad it's going to be freezing and they are all going to rot anyways! (disclaimer.......the photo is doctored just a little, I took out a few small things, but hey, it's my blog and I put this disclaimer stating that it's not true photojournalism style :)

5 a.m.

Steve and I had to head out early to our conference in Petaluma California. Getting up at 3:15 is no the best, but in order to catch a flight out that leaves at 6:00, it's essential. As you can imagine, not many people are crazy enough to do that. At least for us, we were leaving the snow behind!

Bill Rancic

This week, Steve and I took a plane trip out to Petaluma California to a "Product and Marketing" type conference. Bill Rancic was going to be a guest speaker, so what better book to read on the plane to the conference than "You're Hired".

Happy Mistake

In Phoenix, we sat right under the monitors that tell the "arrivals" and "departures" it was pretty funny to sit there and watch people come right up to us and stare at their flights. I set my camera and just fired out a few frames. It's a floating head.

Red, White and Blue

Yellow

Sitting in the Phoenix airport this weekend, I figured that I would auto focus my camera, set it on timer and see what happened.
